Authoring is the development of Web pages for publication on your site. Authors create and maintain site content. This section outlines how to build simple web pages and use assets, along with some tips for gaining efficiencies.
Web page development begins on the Active Site Map. If you only have one site, as in the example below, you may click the Active Site Map tab from the AMM homepage or the Active Site Map button associated to your site. If you manage more than one site in the AMM, click the Active Site Map button associated with the site you wish to work on. The Active Site Map is a hierarchical list of your site’s pages. From it, you can:
The Active Site Map allows you to organize the pages in your site. The list of pages can be expanded and collapsed so you can see either just the top level pages, or the top level pages plus the child pages of the areas you expand.

By default, only the Home page (topmost page of your site) and its child pages are shown when you first load the Active Site Map. If there are child pages below that first level, expand child pages in the Active Site Map in order to view them. The AMM allows 4 levels of navigation (nesting) by default. If your site needs require a deeper level of nesting, please have your SuperUser contact Clockwork to customize your site.
