How To: Protect Your Assets

There may be times when assets in your Media Library should not be accessible to everyone, including search engines, the general public or even Members of your website. The AMM provides 4 states of access to help you manage access to your assets:

1. Public: anyone can view the asset
2. Private: asset not accesible online
3. Members Only: asset only available to logged in site members
4. List Members Only: asset only available to logged in site members in a specific list

Managing these setting is an easy process:

Steps:

1. Navigate to the Asset in which you would like to change Access.
2. Check the box next to the asset title and click the Access button
3. From the Dropdown bubble, select your desired Access level. If you choose 'List Members Only', you will be prompted to select the specific list
4. Click Save

Tip: Selecting more than one asset at a time during Step 2 above will set the asset Access level for all selected assets.
