Below is a list of some of the ways the AMM makes optimizing your site for search a quick and easy process.
If you're looking for general SEO information check out: "How To" Optimize for Search Engines."
"In general, all of the Clockwork sites we reviewed looked very good—often near perfect. None of usual big SEO issues you see with systems like Stellent, RedDot, or Vignette are present in the AMM."- Peter Quale, VP of Technical Search Marketing, Nina Hale, Inc.
Search friendly, keyword-laden URLS.
You can create your own page URL's right within the AMM, because of this you can use specifically targeted keywords for each page. The "Name" field on each AMM page is what is used to create the page's URL, so use that space to get specific. Reminder: You can change the page name and URL, but you don't want to do it often or search engines will get confused.

Long standing URLs with fresh content.
While the AMM does allow you to change a page URL at will, that doesn't mean you should have a free-for-all. Search engines really like old, long-standing URLs that have a constant stream of new content. So keep those URLs as they are and update your content often.
Relevant and editable page titles.
Within the AMM you can change the page title for all your site pages, which means you can update them as you update your page content. Page titles are some of the first things search engines see after the URL, the good news is that you can change page titles at will, without confusing search engines.

Customizable and editable meta descriptions.
Meta descriptions are a search engine's friend because it gives them a snapshot of the content on the page without having to crawl your whole page. Meta descriptions are also your best friend because it's the first glimpse of what content the searcher can expect to see on a page.
In the AMM you can populate the meta description by filling in the "Description" field. You can change this as often as you want, so as you updated your content don't forget to update your description.

Meta tags can be changed without going into the code.
Meta tags are usually entered into the code when a website is created, which means you must either know how to edit code, or ask your development team to make changes. Within the AMM though we've made it easy for you to add, change, and edit meta tags without even needing to get your hands on the code.
Simply enter your keywords into the "tags" section on a page and they will instantly become powerful meta tags that search engines use to find your pages based on a user's search terms. The AMM will even remember popular tags that you can add to your pages with a single click. Change these terms as often as you change content to keep results for your pages accurate.
